Wonderful Greek Sterling Silver Box w/Hellenic National Defense Crest & Motto

Presented is a wonderful sterling silver box. This is a fairly modern piece,
likely of Greek origin. The interior of the box is lined with a black material,
probably some kind of acrylic. The box is done in a simple, clean style, with an
applied crest on the lid. The crest shows an anchor and wings crossed through a
helmet, beneath the Greek motto ???? ???S??????, which translates to 'Ever to
excel.' This is the Emblem of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, with
each symbol corresponding to the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force.
The box is stamped with 925 for the purity of the silver as well as another
mark we unfortunately do not recognize, likely a government hallmark or maker's
mark, possibly Greek.
The box has approximate dimensions of 5 by 3 5/8 by 2 inches, LxWxH.
The box weighs 329 grams or 11.6 regular ounces. Considering the lightness of
the lining material, most of this weight is sterling silver.
