    Description

Made by ABINGDON POTTERY of Abingdon, IL. It features nicely scrolled 'handles' (which are likely hollow) at its ends including a very pretty 'leaf design' extending downward from them into its insides, along with a pleasantly 'fluted' length. Measuring about 14.5" long, 5.5" wide, and 4" deep, its underside shows the ABINGDON U.S.A. trademark as well as the number 532 molded into it.
The ABINGDON POTTERY was founded in the early 1900's and was first (and last) known for producing high quality porcelain plumbing fixtures -- they only produced 'art pottery' between 1934 and 1950. This piece was most likely toward the end of this time period.
It is in excellent condition. There is one spot that looks like a crack at first glance but it is where the glaze missed a raised portion of the leaf pattern.

Our shipping rates are based upon dimensional weight which reflects the amount of space a package occupies in relation to its actual weight and it's destination. This is how USPS & Fedex rates are calculated.  Rates are based upon how much space in the truck a package takes up. Therefore, the larger the package the higher the rates even if the package is light.
