Vintage Coon Hound Treeing Coon Hood ornament

Vintage Hound Dog Treeing Coon may be a hood ornament since it is marked copyright by Dodge Inc. and says CHGO-Newark, LA on the inside of the lid.
It is 4 3/4" tall from below the lid to top of raccoon. It is two inches wide at the base. The cap or lid as I call it is 1 3/8" outside diameter to outside diameter. Inside diameter of lid is 1 1/16". The threaded piece coming out of the center has a diameter of 3/16". It weighs 194 grams. The metal looks like cast aluminum and has silver paint on it.
