Very rarely offered 1935 original, studio-issued, giant sized 15” x 22” 8 page pressbook for the 1935 Universal horror film, “The Raven” starring Boris Karloff (“Frankenstein”; “The Mummy”; the Roger Corman / Vincent Price / Peter Lorre / Bela Lugosi (“Dracula”; “White Zombie”; “Chandu the Magician”) 1963 “The Raven”). This pressbook was printed in the U.S. for export to England with U.S. posters on the rear cover designated by their ‘equivalent’ British sizes (i.e. U.S. 1 sheets are listed as “quad crown” posters; U.S. 3 sheets are listed as 6 sheets; and U.S. 6 sheets as 12 sheets). Save for these typographical differences the pressbook is otherwise
EXACTLY
the same as the pressbook Universal printed for U.S. theaters. This folded pressbook is complete, uncut, with scotch magic tape reinforcing folds and spine separations, and some old damage effecting the middle spine area throughout.
