RARE Poster Cigar City Brewing Hunahpu's Day 2020 Festival Imperial Stout Beer
This poster was sent to some ticketholders of Cigar City Brewing's 11th annual Hunahpu's Day beer festival in Tampa, Fla., scheduled for March 13, 2020. As you can see from the left bottom corner, only 100 were made, and this one is numbered 70. I've never seen another one like it on eBay. It measures 24 by 18 inches on heavy stock. It's been in the mailing tube since it was sent out in early 2020 until just now, when I removed it to take the photos. (The white cups are there to hold down the poster and are not part of the deal.) So, it has never been framed and has had very little handling. The ironic part is that this was the first Hunahpu's Day in a long time to be held inside, in Amalie Arena, where the Tampa Bay Lightning play. Perhaps if the beer tasting had still been outside, it would have survived the rash of closings, but it became one of the first cancellation victims of the pandemic.
Fyi, Hunahpu's Imperial Stout, Cigar City's showcase beer, was named after a hero in Mayan mythology. That accounts for the picture of Hunahpu and the icons in the lower corners. The palm trees represent Tampa.
