Penn Central Harlem Division passenger timetable Form 112 with service to Chatham, NY via Brewster, Patterson, Pawling, State Hospital, Wingdale, Dover Plains, State School, Wassaic, Amenia, Millerton, Copake Falls, Hillsdale, Craryville, Philmont & Chatham
dated February 5, 1968
. Service north of Chatham (to North Adams, MA) had been discontinued in 1953. This timetable is in near mint condition considering it's over 53 years old! Service from Dover Plains to Chatham was discontinued at about 2 PM on Monday, March 20, 1972 with no advance warning. Penn Central did not care about their passengers, as they left many passengers stranded up to 50 miles from their homes at Dover Plains that evening. Service was extended to Wassaic in 2000.
