bingdon Pottery was established in 1908 by Raymond E. Bidwell as the Abingdon Sanitary Manufacturing Company but started making art pottery in 1934 due to hard economic times.  Production of the art pottery pieces ceased in 1950 as the war effort heated things up.  This means that this beautiful pottery was only produced for 16 years.   This pair of Art Deco style double candle holders are gorgeous.  The pink color is such a wonderful vintage shade.  They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches.  They measure 4" tall and the base is 3 3/4" in diameter.  They are marked on the bottom "Abingdon USA 575".  Please message me with any questions.  The pair of Art Deco beauties would make an excellent addition to your collection or as a statement piece in your home.
