Kaffe Fassett Staccato Coat from Rowan Book 36 - Discontinued Yorkshire Tweed AranFrom Rowan Book 36, published in the fall 0f 2004, Stacatto is one of Kaffe's easiest designs to create. Using only two colors in a row and knit from aran weight Rowan Yorkshire Tweed, the coat will work up very quickly. Suitable for intermediate knitters. The pattern can be made in any of five sizes from XS (to fit up to a 32 inch bust) to XL (to fit up to a 40 inch bust). Given the geometric nature of the design you could size it down or up. Standard fit with inset drop shoulder sleeves. The pattern calls for a tension of 18 stitches and 23 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) on US 7 (4.5 mm) needles.

Yorkshire Tweed Aran has been discontinued for over 10 years. Collecting what you require in matching dye lots can be quite a challenge.
