    Description

For bid is an original June 3, 1951 (effective) KEY SYSTEM TRANSIT LINES, California Time Table E for the Claremont, 55th Street Bridge Rail Line!  This is a 12-panel foldout service schedule sheet with times to and from San Francisco, California with times for San Pablo Avenue, College Avenue and the Claremont stop (end of the line) in Oakland, Alameda County, California.  This old station was near the Claremont Hotel and is now long-demolished.  Weekday, Saturday and "Sundays & Holidays Only" schedules.  The Key System was the MAJOR public transportation service from the 1900's to the early 1970's when BART and buses dominated public transit.
