  • Condition: This book has some wear and imperfections, including some paper loss, cover wrap which was put around the folded press sheets have separated at spine and have paper loss, also there are some tears that have been repaired with archival tape, the interior pages were stapled at the top as they should be the first sheet is loose. Interior paper is quite supple, no cuts believe complete.

    This is an original pressbook (exhibitor's press sheets), for the movie based on the Talbot Mundy and Bradley King novel. This has 11 interior press sheets are single sided and are approx. 14 x 20.75 inches, the wrap around is also single sided.
    A vivid drama of old New Orleans! the story of a woman and her reputation; of a lie that started it and a great love that redeemed it.
    A pressbook, which also goes under a few other names was not distributed to the general public. it contains all of the materials needed to exploit the picture i.e. posters, lobby cards, ads and news articles.
