  • Condition: See photos and description for condition. This boring head has a 5/16" thread OD indexable carbide boring cartridge installed. The bar (not including the cartridge) extends 4-5/8" from the face of the flange, it is 63/64" at the nose tapering to 1-5/32" at the flange. This tool holder features a 45 (NMTB standard) machine taper. The flange has a 3.50" OD with a 3/4" drive notch. The space between the 2 flanges is 5/8", with a square shoulder and a 3/1/6" ball groove on both sides. The total outside distance of the flanges is 1-1/2". We have several tool holders that match these dimensions, I believe these are a Cincinnati Milacron 45-CMA shank based on markings on several of the tool holders we have, but have no information on what specific machine(s) used this setup or what the ball grooves are for. So please tell me if you know!
