Description
Two related items… both of Belgian, or more specifically, Flemish cycling champions. The Beer mug celebrates Benoni Beheyt, world pro road champion in 1963. Benoni hailed from Zwijnaarde near Gent. The Mug is in good shape. It has a couple of small chips on the bottom which do not affect the strength of the mug. You can just see one of the chips in the photos… if you look at base of mug just below left edge of the B&W photo you can see the largest chip. Features a hand-painted world champion stripes around the base and a black and white photo of Mr. Beheyt in his worlds jersey. The second item is a Primus beer glass celebrating the famous, hard-as-nails Flandrian (AND Flahute), Briek Schotte and the Tour of Flanders (he won the race in 1948). Items will be very well packaged for shipping.
