Heh. Brad Lackey, Mister MX. Mister Bite-
Your-Head- Off-At-The-Ankles. And now he’s
riding for Kawasaki. How can that be?
He ain’t dumb. Last year, the magazines said
all the KX125 needed was suspension. Well,
Happy New Year! And happy new suspension.
You got it
We’ve also improved the 124cc Boyesen
reed-valve engine and refined the 6-speed
transmission. The fuel tank is bigger for longer
length European motos, too.
And the bike’s more comfortable so you can
ride longer without tiring.
It’s super light and super fast It’s a works
replica with the works. The KX250 will blow
the doors off everybody. Period.
We’ve reworked this works replica with a
better ignition, closer-ratio gearbox and an
improved tire for holeshot blast aways.
Ditto on the comfort story with a new seat
handlebar and footpeg positions.
The shocking news up front is longer wheel
travel with new air-spring forks. And gas-oil
shocks with remote reservoirs, and an increase
in rear wheel travel to 11!'
Backing up everything is a powerful, light-
weight 249cc engine inducted by a 6-petal
Boyesen reed-valve. An electrofiision cylinder
dissipates heat faster. And the radial-fin head
keeps things cooler under the collar.
Brad knows. This year if you haven’t got the
Greens, you’re gonna get the blues.
