    THE ALL NEW 175E —This medium-sized com-
    petition machine is designed for the roughest
    off-the-road riding as well as freeway cruising.
    The 21.5 hp single, rotary disc valve engine
    features greater low-end torque, yet has a top
    speed of 80 mph. This lean and tough machine
    will takeyou where you want to go even through
    water up over the hubs. In every way the 175E
    has been built to take abuse!

    ment, provides increased rake to
    the front forks. Rugged, hydraulic
    action.
    REAR SHOCKS —5 way adjustable
    to suit any riding condition—fea-
    ture nitrogen pressurized oil damp-
    ening.
    “TUNABLE" HATTA FORKS-scaled
    down exclusively for the 175E.
    Spring tension can be 3-way ad-
    justed with a simple twist of a
    screwdriver. Hard, intermediate,
    or soft.
    COMPETITION MAGNETO CDI —
    (capacitor discharge ignition)
    Space age, solid state electronics
    —never needs to be adjusted or
    timed. With surface gap spark
    plug — expected life 5000 miles.
    Three way adjustability at the axle
    to suit the riders needs. Greater
    rake increases high speed stabil-
    ity. Greater trail provides more
    maneuverability.
    COMPLETELY ENCLOSED CARBU-
    RETOR—water can’t touch it. Main
    jets can be changed from outside
    without removing cover.
    ROTARY DISC VALVE ENGINE—pro-
    vides complete control of intake
    timing which means greater torque
    at lower rpms-more peak power,
    too.
