LOS ANGELES, CALIF.— Mr. Alan
Masek, General Manager of American
Kawasaki has announced the appoint-
ment of Mr. Don Weagel as the East-
ern Sales Manager for Kawasaki Mo-
torcycles, Avenel, New Jersey.
Mr, Weagel, 38, known throughout
the industry as one of the most knowl-
edgeable men in the motorcycle field,
brings to Kawasaki a wealth of infor-
mation gained from years of service
with such two-wheeled companies as
American Honda, was Eastern District
Manager with U.S Suzuki Motor
Corp., and N.S.U. His experience con-
tains many years in retail as well as
wholesale motorcycle distribution and
he was very active in the manage-
ment, research and product devel-
opment for General Dynamics,
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND — Stan
Truslove, Service Representative of
Triumph Engineering Co., Ltd.,
Coventry, England dropped in at the
Triumph Corp., Eastern Distributors
for Triumph cycles on a recent visit to
the U.S.A. Stan has been employed by
the Triumph factory in England since
1946 and is shown seated on a
beautifully restored 350cc-3T model
which was the first post-war twin pro-
duced by Triumph.
Rod Coates, Service Manager of
Triumph-Baltimore, compares notes
with Stan about the good old days
right after the war. Rod is seated on his
old NO. 43, the machine he rode on the
old Daytona Beach Course when he
won the 100 mile event of 1 950. ■
