    Description

Meet "Fat Daddy" A 1937 Big Twin (1200/74ci) Flathead Chopper!!!! Previous owner & family story is it was owned and ridden by a black club member in the late 60's/early 70's? Wish I knew more, but the tweeker craftsmenship says it all. This is an old Arizona survivor chop. It had been sitting since the 70's and easily fired right up. Great running engine with original vin and matching belly numbers. m51 Linkert carb, Early 4-speed with oem primaries. Extended Harley springer front end (with twisted legs) with with 21' spool and new Avon rubber. Rear tire is super vintage; has a cool tread pattern but is a bit dry; works for now but I would eventually replace it. Amazing paint job....use the zoom feature to see the intricate acetylene torch "smoke marks" and other cool old school paint tricks!!!! Oem mechanical brake rear with 16' star hub. Frame is classic chopper and looks to be a late '37 or '38 frame with capped brake stay that has stretch and a panhead neck grafted. The coolest part: Crazy Welded flame torch heavy duty sissy bar with a KATANA sword for checking your oil...haha. New (used) Magneto, (no battery to worry about) period correct petcock has been replaced to stop leak, and now it starts in a kick or two, (honestly easier to start than other Big Twins I own/have owned (Pans, Shovels , Knuckle) shifts through all 4 gears and turns heads whenever/where ever it's seen. Runs strong...no smoke!!! Sounds Awesome!! looks tough even though it's pink!! As with any old bike, there are things that you will have to do to maintain it or make it suitable to your needs....or ride it as is. I have video of it running/riding. Rare to see a big twin flathead chopper. Actual Miles unknown (I put 50,000 as I had to list something) I'm sure I'm forgetting some little things, so please consider the pictures part of the overall description & again, feel free to ask questions. The gentleman I got this from sells vintage Harleys worldwide, ran the numbers and they are clean. NY doesn't have titles for pre' 1970's motor vehicles. When I have had titles they have you surrender them and all you get is a transferable registration. I never registered this bike and do NOT have a Title but a title agency could do this for approx. 0. Paperwork does tend to get lost, this bike is 84yrs old!! Again, the numbers are clean but if this bothers you please do not bid. I am reputable seller on Ebay selling vintage guitars, amp, recording equipment and vintage motorcycles for 13yrs and have 100% feedback. I have bought and sold Indians from the 40's, Harleys from the 40's - 70's without issues.(I just sold 2 Panheads during the Pandemic and the buyers were both very happy) Feel free to ask any questions and I will help you the best that I can. All shipping arrangements to be made by buyer. I will make myself available to be present for pickup & help with loading if needed, but bike will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared. I have shipped and received bikes from all over the world. I am not a business, just a vintage motorcycle enthusiast and musician. This is definitely a rare & cool chopper!!!!! FYI...This bike is NOT in the picture of the Black Motorcycle Club (East Bay Dragons.. I believe) photo....I included this picture to show how it is easy to see this bike would've (and did) fit right in as it is a period correct, survivor chopper like no other. ****The last picture is of the '37 UL and my '50 Pan/Shovel which I may consider selling as well. I hate to sell any bikes but I have debts I must pay off. My loss can be your gain!!! Good Luck bidding!!!! Panhead Knucklehead Shovelhead chopper bobber custom vintage bike vintage chopper Born Free
