    1873-CC Seated Liberty Dollar PCGS MS-61
    Only 2,300 minted with most melted and an estimated 750 to 1,000 pieces actually released into circulation. This is the second rarest With Motto Seated Dollar after the 1870-S. The present coin is extremely well struck with attractive lightly toned surfaces that exhibit orange and gold hues surrounded by a touch of turquoise at the perimeter. The few minor marks that define the grade are insignificant and don't distract from this coins excellent eye appeal. The PCGS population report shows just 4 mint state coins: one MS-60, one MS-64, one MS-65, and this MS-61 which is fresh to the market. A truly classic rarity for an advanced Seated Dollar collection!
