A rare 1871 CC key date seated liberty dollar graded Extra Fine Details 'Plugged' by PCGS. Although it has been notated to only have extra fine details, we believe it is actually an about uncirculated+ detailed coin. It holds an exceptional strike and the plug was definitely professionally done. It looks like it was done right near Mrs. Liberties head on the obverse. A Carson City Mint coin that is seldom ever offered in any grade level. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This key date coin holds a tiny mintage of only 1,376. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 150 have survived in all grades today! This coin is one of only a few we have ever offered in all of our years in the coin business/hobby.
